I chose to pursue a career in education because I wanted to make a difference. I've always been an avid reader, but seeing my students, especially the reluctant readers, truly engage in stories made me realize just how powerful books really are. I'm a firm believer that the world needs your story and I would love to be a part of helping you make that dream a reality.

A few fun facts about me and my story: 

I'm a mom of three and while my husband and I refer to our life as a three-ring circus, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have a Master's degree in Educational Psychology and am certified as a school counselor.

I'm a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and actively take courses to refine my skills.  

I sponsor a Young Authors Club at my school to help our aspiring writers work on their craft.

I'm a writer too! My favorite genre to write is YA historical fantasy.

In the rare event that I have free time, I love me some Animal Crossing and the occasional Minecraft with my son and husband.
